Robert Dahl
Robert has extensive experience working on a wide range of projects including structural steel, tanks, pipelines, and large-scale construction. With over 30 years as an ironworker, he gained valuable experience and perspective that led him to roles such as project manager, quality assurance manager, and quality control manager, as well as performing industrial inspections since 2009. He has worked with various companies, including large global corporations, and has earned numerous awards and recognitions for his work.​​
Robert Dahl brings extensive expertise in industrial inspections across various sectors, including structural steel, tanks, pipelines and large-scale construction projects. He is proficient in numerous industry codes, such as AWS, API, and ASME standards, and has a deep understanding of fabrication, welding, coating applications, and civil construction. Robert has overseen the quality of structural installations, high-strength bolting, piping installation, hydrostatic testing, and coating systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. His strong project management, technical, and communication skills allow him to effectively deliver high-quality inspection services across a range of industries.
Proficient knowledge of industry codes and standards, highly skilled in interpreting job
specifications, Pipeline Isometrics, P&IDs as well as Architectural and Structural Steel Erect drawings.
Skilled in the application of codes and standards, including but not limited to AWS D1.1, AWS D1.5,
API 1104, API 653, ASME sections, and AISC.
Cindy Dahl
Cindy has a strong background in the administrative side of industrial construction, excelling in detailed documentation, accounting, and project coordination. She’s worked on a wide range of projects, including those with federal funding requirements, and takes pride in keeping everything organized and running smoothly.
With Cindy’s extensive experience in the administrative and accounting side of industrial construction, and Robert’s hands-on expertise in industrial inspections, they form a dynamic team. The creation of Frontier Quality Inspections was an opportunity to establish an independent industrial inspection business, allowing them to provide more personalized, efficient service and the flexibility to choose projects that align with their skills, addressing unmet needs in the upper Midwest.
